Did you know there are creative ways to support Wichita State University Foundation? Ways in which Wichita State, you and your loved ones all benefit at the same time?
Each year, the students, faculty and staff of WSU benefit from the generosity of alumni and friends who had the foresight to include a gift to the university in their estate plans.
As directed by the donor, these matured estate gifts have created:
- Endowed scholarships
- Faculty support funds
- Equipment and material funds
During the 2009-10 academic year, nearly $14.3 million in estate gifts were received for the benefit of WSU programs. In some cases, the effect was transformational. In all cases, the gift was meaningful, both to the recipients and the donors.
