Why an Endowment Fund is Important

Since 1931, this United Way has been successful in leading our community in finding solutions to health and human service needs. The Endowment Fund, in addition to the annual campaign, helps:

• Invest in focused and strategic community collaborations that address high-priority human service issues identified by community needs assessment research
• Provide sustained funding that is responsive to the needs of the people in the United Way service area in any years that our communities suffer economic downturn or natural disaster
• Support United Way operating costs so that more donated funds go directly to investing in solutions for community needs
• Perpetuate one's annual gift
