Heritage Circle

What is the Right to Life Heritage Circle?

The Right to Life Heritage Circle is a special member group established by Right to Life of Michigan. Created in 2001, the Heritage Circle honors donors who make a gift to RLM through their will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan and other charitable gift planning opportunities, including significant endowment fund memorial gifts.

The Heritage Circle is a legacy extension for the lives RLM works to protect and defend everyday. Acknowledging that life and death bring us full-circle in God's plan for His people, charitable gift planning is an important component in understanding stewardship of God's precious gifts.

It is not enough that RLM has reduced the abortion rate in Michigan, we must reduce that rate even further! We have a tremendous amount of work to do both today and tomorrow. We must continually prepare ourselves to protect and defend innocent human life well into the future as evidenced by RU486, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, cloning and more.

Funds raised through charitable gift planning will help to ensure RLM's readiness for many years to come.

How Can I Become a Member?

You can become a member of the Heritage Circle by including Right to Life of Michigan, or Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund, or Right to Life of Michigan Educational Endowment Fund in your estate plans, or by making a deferred gift during your lifetime.

Membership in the Heritage Circle begins when the RLM Office of Gift Planning is notified of your charitable intention or plans (click here to notify us). Upon receipt of that notification, you will receive a framed, ready-to-hang Heritage Circle member certificate to proudly display in your home or office.

Heritage Circle member names will be prominently displayed, in a special way, through RLM events and donor recognition opportunities throughout the state. Through this witness, Heritage Circle members embrace the call to defend and protect the sanctity of life, and become the role models of tomorrow for future generations.
