Judy Tobias Davis, a leading light of NYU’s Silver School of Social Work and an honoree at the School’s Fiftieth Anniversary, made a major contribution to the School through the NYU Charitable Gift Annuity. Her gift reflects a long involvement with the School - and an appreciation of the unique financial advantages of charitable gifts that pay income back to the donor.
Joe Cillo has fashioned his life around inquiry, innovation and inventiveness. He attended Brooklyn Tech, just a few blocks from home, then enrolled in the aeronautics program at NYU’s Engineering College, at the former University Heights campus. The first in his family to attend college, NYU’s offer of a full scholarship - and work as a dance instructor - made his education possible. While at NYU Heights, he lived just off-campus in the Psi Upsilon fraternity he joined; he still remembers fondly the camaraderie.
