An Invitation to Join The NVFS Family Legacy Society

Members of The NVFS Family Legacy Society have expressed their commitment to Northern Virginia Family Service through a very special and important form of financial support.

These donors have named NVFS as the beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest, appreciated securities, gifts of real estate, gifts of life insurance and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts.

Once you complete your estate plans, please fill out our member profile form to let us know. We would like to thank you for your generosity by including you in The NVFS Family Legacy Society.

Membership Benefits

All members of The Family Legacy Society will receive a small token and certificate of membership which we hope will be proudly displayed. In addition, a cumulative list of members will be published each year in the Annual Report and may appear, as appropriate, in various other Agency publications. A member's name will appear only with his or her permission. As membership grows, there may be occasional social events which are as yet unscheduled.

The simple instructions are as follows: 1. If you have not already done so, consult your legal and financial advisors to inform them of your charitable intentions. 2. As soon as Northern Virginia Family Service is included in your provisions - or if you have questions, please notify the Development Office with either a call to 571.748.2530 of a brief letter addressed to:

Ann McNerney
Chief Development Officer
