The Roger L. Stevens Society
An Invitation to join the Roger L. Stevens Society
Patrons who express their support for the future of the performing arts in their estate plans by including bequests, charitable gift annuities or other deferred gifts for the Kennedy Center, the National Symphony Orchestra or VSA arts are invited to be a member of the Roger L. Stevens Society. The Roger L. Stevens Society is the legacy society named in memory of our founding Chairman whose passion for the performing arts and unwavering determination made the dream of the Kennedy Center a reality. He was known “as the man who built the Kennedy Center” and his work on behalf of the performing arts not only enriched the cultural life of our nation's capital, but also had a far reaching impact on the arts nationwide.
Please let us know if you have included the Kennedy Center, the National Symphony Orchestra or VSA arts in your estate plans so that we may thank you during your lifetime for your outstanding support and commitment to the programs and performances which bring the arts into the lives of millions of people both in Washington DC and around the country each year.
It is through the great support of our patrons that we can provide the best in performing arts and provide the highest quality of arts education to students, families and teachers around the world for years to come.
Once you complete your estate plans, please fill out our member profile form to let us know. We would like to thank you for your generosity by including you in The Legacy Society.
Benefits of The Roger L. Stevens Society:
- The most important benefit is the satisfaction of knowing you are helping bring the highest level of performing arts to the Kennedy Center as well as top level education programs to young people in the Washington DC area and nationwide. Your membership involves no dues or obligations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the plans you have made, and it may inspire generosity in others.
- Your name will be listed on the membership roster in Playbill and the Kennedy Center annual report unless you choose to remain anonymous. There are other extended special membership benefits including invitations to special events and seminars.
