Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society
The Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society recognizes individuals who have provided gifts for The GBMC Foundation in their Wills, through Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, or by designating GBMC as the beneficiary of a Retirement Plan Account, like an IRA or 401(k). As a member of The Yaggy Society, you will receive special mailings and invitations to events at GBMC. You will also be invited to regular luncheons where you will receive briefings about the hospital and our programs. All Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society members will also receive complimentary parking whenever they come to GBMC.
The Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society honors the late Elizabeth D. Yaggy. Mrs. Yaggy made the first gift to start a capital fund to purchase land at an unknown location to create an unnamed suburban hospital that became The Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Mrs. Yaggy made substantial contributions to GBMC throughout her life and through a generous bequest in her Will. The GBMC Foundation created the Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society to recognize individuals who, like Mrs. Yaggy, have shown the foresight to invest in future of GBMC and ensure that our mission of providing medical care and service of the highest quality to each patient is perpetuated.

Members of the Elizabeth Duncan Yaggy Society have expressed their commitment to Greater Baltimore Medical Center Foundation through a very special and important form of financial support.
These donors have named the GBMC Foundation as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, or gifts of life insurance.
