An Invitation to Join the Chesapeake Legacy Circle

The Chesapeake Legacy Circle recognizes those donors who have included the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in their estate plans through a legacy or planned gift. Over the years, dedicated friends have played an important part in ensuring the long-term stability of the Chesapeake Bay by including CBF in their estate plans with gifts of all sizes. Each gift plays a vital role in preserving the Bay for generations to come.

If you have already included CBF in your estate planning, we hope you will let us know. Your willingness to be listed as a Chesapeake Legacy Circle member allows us to recognize your commitment in a few simple ways, and your participation encourages others to follow the example of your leadership.

These donors have named CBF as the ultimate beneficiary of a planned gift. Such gifts might include a bequest and/or charitable income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder unitrusts, charitable remainder annuity trusts, or gifts of life insurance.
