More Information for Securities Brokers

The ALS Association is pleased to accept gifts of securities. We can accept securities three ways: through DTC transfer, online or in certificate form.  

Give Securities Electronically (DTC Transfer)

For security reasons, we do not publish our brokerage account information online.  To obtain The ALS Associationís DTC number and Account Number, please contact the Office of Gift Planning at (888) 226-5185, or via e-mail to giftplanning@alsa-national.org. Give Securities Held in Certificate Form

Brokers, please note.

Note: if your client intends his or her gift to support one of The ALS Associationís Chapters, please contact our Office of Gift Planning at (888) 226-5185, so that your clientís gift can be forwarded to the designated Chapter.  Otherwise, all securities gifts will be designated for The ALS Association National Office.

The ALS Association needs to know whom to thank for their generosity. DTC transfers of stock are received by The Association anonymously. Please call the Office of Gift Planning toll-free at (888) 226-5185, or e-mail giftplanning@alsa-national.org when making a gift of securities on behalf of a client using DTC transfer.

Also, please send a copy of your client's transfer authorization letter to The ALS Association, Attention: Office of Gift Planning, by mail, or by fax: (202) 464-8869.
