Mr. Bryon D. Wall and Mrs. Josefa E. Bethea Wall

Bryon D. Wall is a North Carolina native whose professional experience includes over 10 years in retail property management. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Bryon is an alumnus of Project REAP (Real Estate Associates Program), finishing first in his class. He is an International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) John T. Riordan Professional Education Scholar. Bryon’s real estate experience includes property/business turnarounds, crisis management, energy management, specialty leasing, marketing, developing signature events, community collaborations, and much more. His assignments have included two temporary stints managing a super-regional mall in a suburb of San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has served as a local church mission coordinator and has been a guest lecturer in several states. Currently, Bryon is General Manager with Rouse Properties. He is a member of ICSC, Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, and the FBI Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association. He also serves on the board of Great Southport Business Association.

Josefa E. Bethea Wall, also a native of North Carolina, earned her B.A. degree in Accounting from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina. She also holds a Master of Public Affairs degree with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Duke University; and Process Management and Nonprofit Management certificates from the University of New Mexico. From 2004-2008, she served as secretary of the board of directors for the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry and was a member of the Loans and Scholarship Committee. She continues to support the United Methodist Church’s Black College Fund, for which she served as an ambassador in 1984 and 1985. Josefa has been a delegate to several World Methodist Conferences and was named a member of the World Methodist Council in 2011. Currently, Josefa is a member of the advisory development committee for Africa University. She also serves the church in her role as a freelance writer for United Methodist Communications. Mrs. Bethea Wall has over 20 years of experience in higher education, community-building, and philanthropic fund management and distribution. Her career has focused on advancing sustainable community development by cultivating strategic partnerships and advancing the collective impact of nonprofit organizations.
